4 Product description

4.1 Setup and operation

The xFUME

®

POWER 250 is part of a MIG/MAG welding system.

Welding fumes, which are hazardous to health, are generated during welding. These are extracted
by the fume extraction torch, sent through the extraction system’s tube system and filtered and cleaned by
the internal filters. The cleaned air is then returned via an exhaust air grille.
The device complies with welding fume separation class H12.
The xFUME

®

POWER 250 is operated using a control box. All electronic components are installed in the

metal housing. The power supply is provided via a separate connecting cable. The following accessories
can be connected to the welding power source:
