14.4.2 Connecting the hand-held terminal
1 Switch off E-Box at the main switch.
2 Connect hand-held terminal to the interface X48 using the 9-pin D-SUB plug.
3 Switch on E-Box.
14.4.3 Activate hand-held terminal
1 Press HT on/off trigger.

• Inching forward (wire feed) • Inching backward (short wire reverse)

ADoffset= 5.0V These triggers are used to write an offset to the marker for the wire speed. The wire
speed can be set to a setpoint of between 0 and 10 V.
The offset remains intact even after switching the E-Box on and off.
APD main menu:
Drives start!
DG= 5.0 m/min This trigger is used to start the drives at the set setpoint, the wire speed being
displayed if the optional wire actual value encoder was installed.
APD main menu:
Reverse on!
DG= 500 m/min Press this trigger to run the drives at the set setpoint in reverse mode. This function
is only possible in the start mode.
