7.4.1 Temporary unlocking
To unlock the control panel for five minutes, proceed as follows:
1 Turn the main controller and enter the correct password.
2 Press the main controller to confirm the changes.
7.4.2 Indefinite unlocking
To unlock the control panel indefinitely, proceed as follows:
1 Press the main controller for at least five seconds to open the setup menu.
2 Reset parameter 551 to OFF.
3 Press to save the changes.
4 Press the main controller to confirm the changes.
7.5 Defining the monitoring limits
The control system makes it possible to set monitoring limits for the following welding parameters. If the monitored values are
exceeded, a warning or alarm is issued.
Warnings are shown on the display.
Alarms are shown on the display and they immediately interrupt the welding procedure.
• Main current
• Arc voltage
• Gas flow rate
• Armature current for motor 1
• Armature current for motor 2
• Coolant flow
• Speedometer for wire feeder speed
• Coolant temperature


1 Press and hold <Main controller> (6) for at least 5 seconds.
2 Select parameter 801 by turning <Main controller> (6) .
3 Choose a parameter to be monitored by pressing <Softkey 1> (12) .
