4.1 Transport
Although the items delivered are carefully checked and packaged, it is not possible to fully exclude the risk of transport
damage.

5 Functional description
The
TIG cold-wire feeder
is part of a welding system. The wire required for TIG welding is delivered through the cable
assembly and to the manual welding torch
.
The wire is fed constantly to the TIG arc via a four-roll drive. The TIG arc is produced by an ABITIG manual welding torch
and a power source
.
The components needed for welding, such as welding current, shielding gas and coolant, are connected to the
TIG cold-
wire feeder
as required. The required welding wire depends on the material to be welded and is taken from the
integrated wire spool.
Goods inspection
Use the delivery note to check that everything has been delivered.
Check the delivery for damage (visual inspection).
In case of complaints
If the delivery has been damaged during transportation, contact the last carrier
immediately. Retain the packaging for potential inspection by the carrier.
Packaging for returns
Where possible, use the original packaging and the original packaging material. If you
have any questions concerning the packaging and/or how to secure an item during
shipment, please consult your supplier.
