12. Quality of the products and environmental protection
UniSec DY800 cubicles are manufactured in
accordance with the requirements established by
the international standards governing quality and
environmental management systems.
The level of excellence achieved in these fields is
testified by ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certificates,
which are available when required.
12.1 End of life of the products
ABB undertakes to comply with the environmental
protection requirements and laws, as laid down by
Standard ISO 14001.
ABB offers its skills and assistance to facilitate
product recycling and disposal at the end-of-life
stage.
Compliance with the local regulations when
disposing of products is always mandatory.
12.2 Disposal methods
The products can be disposed of by means of heat
treatments, in incineration systems or by storage in
dedicated areas.
