Routing the cables
When you route the cables:
• Install the AC power cables and the control cables on separate routes.
• Use metallic screen cables for control cables.
• Do not put extra cables through the MVS without permission.

Earthing
Always construct an earthing electrode for the MVS. Always follow the local regulations.
Follow the minimum requirements for the earthing electrode:
• Minimum cross-sectional area = 95 mm
2
. The plates are prepared for 95 mm
2
cables
• Installation depth = 500...800 mm from the surface of the soil
• Installation route around the MVS = one meter from the outer wall
• Connect the MVS earthing busbar and the station enclosure to the earthing electrode.
Use joint lubricant to protect the connection point against corrosion
