7  Device to network

You can configure the IP address and the hostname of the 
device. The device supports the DHCP function.

The device is shipped with DHCP enabled.

The default IP address with DHCP disabled is 

192 .168 .1 .122

.

The default hostname is 

my-hostname

.

Network related parameters are accessible through the HMI 
menu.

Once a server is assigned an IP address, the factory default IP 
address and hostname will be replaced by the ones assigned 
through the DHCP server.

To  check the IP settings, use the Flowmeter HMI menu to go to 

Communication

 > 

EtherNet

 > 

Internet layer

 > 

Host IP address

.

8  EtherNet/IP

Device profile

The device corresponds to the profile 0x43, Generic Device, 
(keyable).

Supported standards and protocols:

• Common Industrial Protocol (CIP™) Vol 1, Ed 3.25
• Ethernet/IP Adaptation of CIP Vol2, Vol 2, Ed 1.23.
