4.6.5 Replacement of motor, axis 5

Reused pinion

The pinion in the motor, axis 5, is matched with the bevel gear for axis 5. When
the motor is replaced the pinion must therefore be removed from the dismounted
motor and fitted onto the new motor shaft as detailed in this section.

Location of motor

The motor axis 5 is located inside the upper arm tube, but attached to the wrist
unit, as shown in the figure below.
