Refitting, lower rod
Use this procedure to refit the lower rod of the linkage.
Note Action
Spare part no. is specified in Required
equipment on page 154 .
If needed, replace the bearings .
Use a press sleeve .
Note
The bearings are sensitive for pushes. Make
sure they are not damaged!

Art. no. for the press sleeve is also spe-
cified in

Lubricate the bearings properly with bearing
grease .

Refit the sealing/spacer rings to the shaft
ends on the link and frame. 3
Replace if damaged. Refit the support washers on the seal-
ing/spacer rings.

Tip
Putting some grease on the support
washers will keep them in position.
Check that the bearings in the lower rod are
fitted correctly, that is in the center of the
hole. (The same distance from bearing to
the edge of the lower rod on both sides.) 5
CAUTION
The link weighs xx.
All lifting accessories used must be sized
accordingly!

Place the lower rod on the shaft ends of the
link and frame.
Note
Check that the lower rod is pushed com-
pletely in.

Refit the support washers on the outside of
the lower rod, on the link and frame shafts. 8
Specified in Required equipment on
page 154 .
Apply locking liquid on the threads of the
lock nuts.

Tightening torque: 20 Nm. Refit the lock nuts on the shaft ends. Use a
KM10 socket. 10
