Refitting, parallel arm
The procedure below details how to refit the complete parallel arm to the robot.
Action Note
1.
DANGER!
Turn off all electric power, hydraulic and
pneumatic pressure supplies to the robot!
2. Fit one of the two V-rings to the parallel arm. Shown in the figure Assembly,
parallel arm on page 120 .
3. Heat up the new bearing to 170º and fit it to the
parallel arm.
4. Fit the second V-ring to the parallel arm.
5. Fit the complete parallel arm to the robot with the
eight attachment screws and washers.
8 pcs; M10x60.
Tightening torque: 72 Nm.
6. Refit the tie rod. Detailed in section Refitting, tie rod
on page 112 .
7. Recalibrate the robot! Calibration is detailed in a separate
calibration manual, enclosed with
the calibration tools.
