6.5 Digital output parameter settings
The digital output can be changed in many ways. In general, the signal of the digital output is binary 0 or
24 V. The polarity of the output can be inverted.
For a better overview, you can see the actual as well as the new parameters.
The new settings will be sent to the device when the „save“-command is selected from the „save data“
menu.
After saving the data the FMT200-ECO2 (Sensyflow eco2) will initialize itself. During the save-initializa-
tion phase, the LED is blinking red.
6.5.1
Frequency output „standard“
In this mode the actual flow will be represented as a proportional frequency.
Fig. 6-17
You can choose between 2 modes, either 1..100 Hz or 10....1000 Hz. The lower limit represents 0% flow,
the upper limit represents 100% of the adjusted „Range full scale value“ (compare chapter 6.4 “Analog
output parameter settings” on page 20).
6.5.2
Frequency output „variable“
This mode allows a free choice of the frequency range. The maximal possible frequency is 2500 Hz.
Fig. 6-18
Lower and upper frequencies can be entered within the range of 1 and 2500 Hz.
The lower limit represents 0% flow, the upper limit represents 100% flow of the adjusted „Range full scale
value“ (compare chapter 6.4 “Analog output parameter settings” on page 20).
6.5.3
Pulse output
The FTM200-ECO2 can be used as a flow totalizer in this mode. As soon as the adjusted value is
reached, the device will produce a pulse of the adjusted length. The signal polarity can be positve or neg-
ative.

– Value:
Enter the pulse evaluation
– Length:
Enter an impulse length between 1 and 256 ms. Note that pulse length and pulse value must be com-
bined in a way that is possible to give out both impulse and pause at maximum flow.
– Polarity:
Please specify, if the signal should be
positive , pause
0 V - Impulse 24 V - pause 0 V
or
negative, pause
24 V - Impulse 0 V - pause 24 V
