Standard programposi features 55

All parameter settings are stored automatically to the permanent memory of the drive.
However, if an ex24 V DC power supply is used for the drive control unit, it is
highly recommended to force a save by using parameter

Parameter save

before powering down the control unit after any parameter changes have

been made.

If necessary, the default parameter values can be restored by parameter

Parameter restore



Application programming

The functions of the firmware program can be extended with application
programming. (A standard drive delivery does not include an application program.)
Application programs can be built with function blocks based on the IEC 61131-3
standard using a PC tool available separately.

Control interfaces



Programmable analog inputs

The control unit has two programmable analog inputs. Each of the inputs can be
independently set as a voltage (0/2…10 V or -10…10 V) or current (0/4…20 mA)
input by a jumper or switch on the control unit. Each input can be filtered, inverted
and scaled. The number of analog inputs are increased by installing FIO-11 or FAIO-
01 I/O extensions (see

Programmable I/O extensions

).

The control unit has two current (0…20 mA) analog outputs. Each output is filtered,
inverted and scaled. The number of analog outputs are increased using FIO-xx I/O
