Fieldbus control

You can control the unit through a fieldbus interface if the unit is equipped with an
optional fieldbus adapter and when you have configured the control program for the
fieldbus control with the parameters. For information on the parameters, see the
firmware manual.

Note: To be able to switch the main contactor [Q2] or main circuit breaker [Q1] and
the supply unit on and off (Run enable signal) through the fieldbus, the Run enable
command at digital input DI2 must be on (1).

Type designation label

Each supply module has type designation labels attached to it. The type designation
stated on the labels contains information on the specifications and configuration of
the unit.

Quote the complete type designation and serial number when contacting technical
support on the subject of individual supply modules.

Serial number. The first digit of the serial number refers to the manufacturing plant. The next
four digits refer to the unit’s manufacturing year and week, respectively. The remaining digits
complete the serial number so that there are no two units with the same number.
