Connection to a cooling unit
￭ Connection to an ACS880-1007LC cooling unit

￭ Connection to a custom cooling unit
General requirements
Equip the system with an expansion tank to damp pressure rise due to volume changes
when the temperature varies. Equip the system with a pump that provides a nominal flow
and pressure. Keep the pressure within the limits specified in
Technical data (page 86) .
Install a pressure regulator to make sure that the maximum permissible operating pressure
is not exceeded.
Install a bleed valve at the highest point of the cooling circuit, and a drain valve at the lowest
point.
The materials that can be used are listed in Cooling circuit materials (page 88) .
Coolant temperature control
The temperature of the coolant in the internal cooling circuit must be kept within the limits
specified in
Technical data (page 86) . Note that the minimum temperature is dependent on
ambient temperature and relative humidity.
