A.2 Electrical Specification
A.2.1 Voltage Supply Requirements
The SBC347A requires Vs2 (+3.3 V), Vs3 (+5 V), and 3V3_AUX supplies. These
must remain within the limits specified below. If either of the supplies is outside
of these specifications at powerup, the SBC347A will fail to start. If the supplies
fall outside of these limits during a powered state, the SBC347A is held in reset
and all onboard supplies are shut down. All supplies should be monotonic as
they ramp up, and the total ramp times should be between 20 ms and 150 ms.
The values in the table below are inclusive of any ripple on the supplies:
WARNING
Do not exceed the maximum rated input voltages or apply reversed bias to the assembly. If such
conditions occur, toxic fumes may be produced due to the destruction of components.
The SBC347A does not use the VPX Vs2, +12V_AUX or -12V_AUX supplies.
A.2.2 Current Consumption
When operating in Turbo mode (up to 3.4 GHz) and with the CPU cores working
under absolute maximum load conditions, the SBC347A will dissipate a
maximum of 75W.

The figures quoted above represent the requirements of the SBC347A under certain conditions.
When specifying system power supply parameters, you are strongly recommended to allow for
higher requirements to allow for usage variation and technology insertion.
