The following Chapter describes how the system responds when busy and how
that response can be influenced using specific settings.

Response if the call destination is busy
If the call destination is busy, an incoming call will be handled according to the
type of destination. Busy call destinations may be:
•
An individual, busy user
•
A busy user group
•
A busy KT line
•
A user with a stored message
•
A user group with busy users but without the elements Operator Console and
general bell.
Within the context of this Chapter a call destination is said to be busy if both the
original destination and the alternative destinations, where configured, as busy
(
CDE if busy setting
).
Call destination: Individual, busy user
Call waiting allowed but is rejected
•
In the case of an incoming call from the public ISDN network the caller obtains
the busy tone.
•
In the case of an incoming call from the private leased-line network call waiting
is not possible.
•
In the case of an incoming call from the public analogue network call waiting is
repeated.
