Lift
the red handles on the lid latch, open the lid and secure the lid in
place using the locks on the side of the unit.
5.
Pull and turn the round knobs on the hold down mechanism 90
degrees. Lift the handles on the hold down mechanism to open.
6.
Lift
the used filters out of the collector and dispose of them in
polyethylene sacks.
7.
Clean the interior of the unit and the door gasket. Inspect the gasket
for damage. Replace gasket if necessary.
8.
Inspect
new filters for damage from shipping, storage or handling. Do
not use damaged filters.
9.
Drop
in new filters into the openings. Ensure flange of the filter is
flush against the panel.
10.
Close hold down latch, and push and turn round knobs 90 degrees to
lock in place.
11.
Close lid and latch securely.
12.
Re-open the compressed air to operating pressure (90-100 psig).

Accessories
AAF accessories should be inspected for wear or damage on the same
interval as the filters.
Any accessory equipment should follow the maintenance schedule that is
included in the manufacturer’s IOM.

TROUBLESHOOTING
12.1
Poor pulse cleaning performance
Issue:
Improper pulse cleaning
Solution: Investigate further, check the wiring, fuses, settings on the pulse
controller, failure of the pulse controller.
Issue:
Lack of compressed air
Solution: Check compressed air supply, valves and gauges, any CA filters.
Correct supply pressure should be 90-100 psig.
Issue:
Diaphragm valve failure – may be indicated by non-action or a
continuous hissing from one valve.
Solution: Replace diaphragm and spring if faulty.
