5.1.4.3.2 Safety and Warnings for Storage of the Battery
Protect the battery immediately after disconnecting the charger or motor. Neither moisture nor foreign
particles (e. g. metal splinters, small nails, chips or other conductive metals) may penetrate the battery.
Do not expose the battery to any moisture (water, rainwater, snow, etc.) during storage!
Store the battery in a cool, dry place where it is protected from damage and unauthorized access.
To achieve optimum battery life, the battery should be stored at a temperature of 10°C to 20°C and a humidity
of 0 to 80 percent. The charge level should be 70 percent.
5.1.4.3.2 Safety and warning notes on the charging process
Do not charge the battery in a ventilated, dry environment.
Never charge the battery in the presence or near flammable liquids or gases.
Do not expose the battery to any moisture (water, rainwater, snow) during charging.
Do not charge the battery in rooms where moisture may accumulate on the battery.
Use only the charger provided to charge the battery.
The use of an unsuitable charger may cause malfunctions and result in a reduced battery life. There is also a risk
of fire and explosion.
Once the charging process is complete, disconnect the charger from the mains socket first and then from the
battery.
Make sure there is sufficient air circulation when the battery is charged.
Always charge the battery only under supervision.
Damaged batteries must not be charged or used.
Damaged chargers (damage to plugs, housing, cables) must not be used
Never tear the power cord to disconnect the charger from the wall outlet.
Do not expose cables and plugs to pressure. Strong stretching or kinking of the cables, jamming of a cable into
the cable
Cable between a wall and a window frame, or placing heavy objects on a cable or plug could cause electric
shock or fire.
Install the power cord and the charger cable located on it in such a way that no one can step on it or trip over
it, or that both cables are not exposed to any other harmful influences or loads.
Do not operate the charger if the power cord, the charging cable, or the plugs on the cables are damaged.
Damaged parts must be replaced immediately by an authorized dealer. Do not use or disassemble the charger
if it has suffered a hard blow, been dropped or otherwise damaged. Take the damaged charger to an
authorized service center for repair.

Do not cover the charger during charging and do not place any objects on the charger.
Never short-circuit the poles of the charging plug with metallic objects.
Make sure that the power plug is firmly plugged into the outlet.
Do not touch the plugs with wet hands.
Do not use the charger plug and/or the mains plug if they are wet or dirty. Clean the plugs with a dry cloth
before inserting them.
5.1.5.1 Rear engine - removal and installation
The drive wheel of your pedelec can be removed from the bicycle frame at any time, for example for cleaning
purposes or in case of a puncture. Proceed with utmost care in this respect and during the subsequent
assembly, paying particular attention to the instructions and information provided by the manufacturers of the
various components attached to the wheel, in particular the brake disc.
5.1.5.2 Removing the drive wheel
Before removing the drive wheel, make a note of the cable laying and the fixing points of the cable ties. First of
all, loosen and remove all cable ties that are used to attach the cable coming from the motor, as well as cables
and leads of other components to the bicycle frame. Then disconnect the plug on the motor cable from the
socket on the battery cable. Loosen the two nuts or quick-release with which the wheel is attached to the
