Machine Status menu

This menu displays a global view of the status of the

printer . It consists of 3 parts .

PREPARATION

Operations summary of machine preparation,

•

Green light = process complete

•

No light = process not complete

HARDWARE

Status of components (Green light = OK, Red light = fault)

•

Supply

: indicates the status of the compressed

air supply and gas supply,

•

Safety

: includes all the safety of the machine and interlocks states (open, locked) that can block a movement or a

manufacturing start,

•

Laser

: indicates the status of the laser (aiming, back reflection) and operating values (temperature, current and

power),

•

Laser head

: state of the thermo-couples, and the temperature values,

•

Axes

: indicates the state of the 4 motors, with the corresponding error code .

FILTERS TIMERS

This area indicates the operating time of the lens cleaner filter. This value must be reset during the process filter

replacement (see section "Step 7 : Lens cleaning" on page 38; optionally the reset button is also available in this menu) .

User level selection

The

User Level Selection

gives access to other more advanced users and/or service tasks, grouped into 5 levels . All user

levels (except

Operator

level) are restricted by access code .

Icon

Description

Operator level:

first user level including a printer preparation wizard, showing the step-by-step

instructions on how to prepare/to start a job and to remove the built part when job complete .

Adjuster level

: dedicated to advanced user - no printer preparation wizard . Access to the process

settings with read/write and read-only access (see appendix, reference 9000938N00) .

Maintainer level

: dedicated to special servicing procedures . Access to Adjuster level menus (with

additional features and additional read/write access) + to the maintenance tool

Expert level

: total access to the settings and to the Expert tool

Administrator level

: reserved
