HW1
Part is not fully cured in its entirety 1. A fully cured part will have no discernible areas of tackiness or oiliness.
Ensure you used the correct material recipe for the resin with which you
printed.
a. Yes, I used the correct material recipe. Go to Step 2.
b. No, I used an incorrect material recipe. Go the Cure Job History screen
and observe the settings and duration for that job.
Note: Different recipes use different light intensities,
a different light spectrum, and different temperature
profiles. For best results, it is recommended to use
the correct material recipe and customize the material
recipe by adjusting the cure time, light intensity, or cure
temperature to achieve custom curing results. If parts
are not fully cured, it is recommended to add additional
curing time to the curing recipe before adjusting other
parameters.
1. If the curing time used was greater than the curing time
recommended for the material, the part is likely over-cured and will
not have the desired mechanical properties. Discard the part at your
discretion.
2. If the curing time used was less than the curing time recommended
for the material, customize your material recipe to cure for the
remaining time needed.
3. If you accidentally selected a material recipe for a material that
performs a thermal curing cycle, the part is likely over-cured and will
not have the desired mechanical properties. Discard the part at your
discretion.
2. Ensure you properly cleaned the part, according to your printer's Post-
Processing Guide, and performed a drying cycle. Customize your material
recipe to cure in increments of five minutes until part is fully cured. Also,
some materials are more prone to be tacky than others and may require
special cleaning/drying steps to minimize tackiness after post curing.
