This chapter describes the initial configuration of each server in a VCX
system that is composed of one pair of servers. All software components
run on both servers.
The installation scripts are run when each server is started for the first
time. Each time the script prompts you for a response, you can accept the
default (preconfigured) value by pressing the Return or Enter key, or you
can manually enter a different value.
At the end of each section of the script, you are prompted to either
accept all of the answers that you have entered in that section or to go
back through the scripts and change one or more of your answers.
Verify that all the procedures outlined in Chapter 1 , “Pre-Installation”
have been completed before continuing with this chapter.
