Installation Steps
Insert your Wireless USB adapter as indicated.
Select the
Advanced
option from the
Found New
Hardware Wizard
and click
Next
.
Insert the
Setup CD
into the CD-ROM drive. Exit
from the CD if the user interface pops up.
Select
Search for the driver in these locations
.
Check
Include this location in the search
, and use
the
Browse
button to find the location of your CD-
ROM drive.
Open the folder named
Driver
, and click
OK
.
Click
Next
and the system will start to copy the
drivers found.
Continue with the installation and select
Finish
when
the Wizard is complete.
Install the Wireless adapter utility program. Double-
click the
My Computer
icon, and then double-click
the
CD-ROM
icon to start the installation. The utility
program installs automatically.
Select
Finish
to exit the utility program installation.
If the 3Com icon was not placed in the system tray
when you installed the utility program, start the
3Com Wireless Utility by selecting
Start > All
Programs > 3Com OfficeConnect Wireless 11g USB
Adapter Utility > 3Com Wireless Utility
.
You are now ready to connect to your
Wireless LAN

User Manual
for detailed information
about how to use Wireless Adapter Utility to monitor
and configure the adapter.
