Installation

This section describes installing the ATM Switch Fabric Module.

Installation

Prerequisites

Before you install the ATM Switch Fabric Module, ensure that you have
met all of the following prerequisite conditions:

Complete the chassis unpacking and installation procedure as described
in the

16-Slot Chassis Quick Installation Guide for the CoreBuilder 9000

Enterprise Switch

or the

7-Slot Chassis Quick Installation Guide for the

CoreBuilder 9000 Enterprise Switch.

You can install the chassis in a rack,

on a shelf, or on a tabletop.

Install the power supply as described in the

16-Slot Power Supply

Installation Guide for the CoreBuilder 9000 Enterprise Switch

or the

7-Slot Power Supply Installation Guide for the CoreBuilder 9000
Enterprise Switch

and install the power cable as described in the
