1. Safety instructions

The  Stefan-Boltzmann  lamp  conforms  to  the
safety stipulations for electrical measuring, con-
trol  and  laboratory  instruments  as  specified  in
DIN  EN  61010 part 1. It  is intended for  use  in
dry rooms suitable for the operation of electrical
equipment.
Safe operation of the equipment can be assured
as  long  as  it  is  used  as  stipulated.  However,
safety cannot be guaranteed if the equipment is
used  incorrectly  or  handled  without  due  care
and attention.

Caution:

When in operation, the lamp can be-

come very hot. There is then a risk of burns if it
is touched. This can also result in greasy resi-
dues being burned onto the lamp.

Do not touch the lamp with your fingers.

Allow the lamp to cool after the experiment
has been completed.

Note:

Applying a voltage of more than 13 V to the ter-
minals is likely to destroy the filament.

Never  apply  a  voltage  higher  than  13  V
across the two 4-mm sockets.
