Interp
The interpolation algorithm used
when pitch shifting pads. In Normal
mode, blackbox may introduce some
aliasing with some WAV files when
pitch shifting notes to play sample,
multi-sample and granular pads
chromatically. The High Quality (High
Q) algorithm reduces the aliasing, but
requires more processing power,
leaving less room to do other things.
Normal, High Q
.
Set to Normal mode unless you
experience aliasing for the WAV file for
this pad.
No
Root Note
The base sample will play for the note
specified here. The sample will be
pitch shifted up or down one semi-
tone for each note away from the root
note. This will load from the WAV file
if available when you add the WAV to
the preset. You can specify a different
value here to be used for this WAV on
this pad in this preset.
When None is specified, the sample is
assumed to have a root note of
middle C.
If you save the WAV file from this pad,
the Root Note value will be saved with
it.
