INSTALLING THE BATTERIES
The WWE Text Messenger operates on battery power. To install the batteries, perform the following steps:
1.
Place the Text Messenger face down to access the battery compartment.
2.
Rotate the belt clip 90 degrees counter clockwise to expose the compartment screw.
3.
Utilizing a Philips head screw driver, remove the battery compartment.
4.
Insert the batteries in the orientation as illustrated within the battery compartment.
* Recommend to use alkaline batteries for the best performance.
POWERING THE WWE TEXT MESSENGER
To power on the WWE Text Messenger, press and hold the ON/OFF key for 2 seconds;the screen will
display the current time. To power off the WWE Text Messenger, pressand hold the same ON/OFF key
for 2 seconds.
NOTE:
The WWE Text Messenger will automatically power off after 1 hour of inactivity to conserve
battery
life.

SETTING TIME AND ENABLING / DISABLING SOUND
By default the WWE Text Messenger will set the time to 12:00am. To set the current time, perform
the following key sequence:
1.
Press the 0/TIME key; the hour numbers will begin to blink.
2.
Use the keypad to enter the first two digits of the current time (input 08 to set 8:00), then press
the ENT key to confirm the hour entry.
3.
The minute numbers will now begin to blink. Use the keypad to enter the last two digits of the
current time, then press the ENT key to confirm the minute entry.
4.
Next, set the time of day by selecting either AM or PM. Use the SEND (Up arrow) key or the
READ (Down arrow) key to toggle between AM/PM, then press the ENT key to confirm the
selection.
An option is also available to enable/disable the ringing sound when text messages are sent and
received. After setting the current time using steps 1-4 above, the screen will display“VOL ON”.
Use the SEND (Up arrow) key or the READ (Down arrow) key to toggle the volume ON/OFF,
then press the ENT key to confirm the selection.
IDENTIFYING THE TEXT MESSENGER ID NUMBER
In order to transmit a text, the sender must enter the unique ID number of the destination
Text Messenger. To find the 4 digit ID number of each WWE Text Messenger, perform the
following key sequence:
1.
Press the CONTACT key; the screen will display “ADD?”
2.
Press the SEND key; the screen will display “USER ID”
3.
Press the ENT key; the screen will display the 4 digit ID number.
Once the sender has the target messenger ID number, he can begin sending messages using
the direct ID number or through a stored contact list.
SENDING TEXT MESSAGES
Texts can be sent to any 4 digit ID number or through the contacts list. To send a text, perform the
following key sequence:
1.
Press the SEND key, the screen will display “TO?”
2.
Use the SEND (Up arrow) key or the READ (Down arrow) key to scroll through the contact list. If a
contact isn’t listed, directly enter the 4 digit ID number of the destination text messenger.
3.
Press the ENT key, the screen will display “MSG?”
4.
Type your text message, then press the ENT key to transmit. The screen will display “…” while
sending a message. (Text messages have a maximum of 40 characters)
a.
A successful transmission will cause the WWE Text Messenger to ring and display “SENT”
on the screen.
b.
A failed transmission will display “FAILED” on the screen.
ADDING TO THE CONTACT LIST
New contacts can be added to the list manually or by received text message. To add a contact manually,
perform the following key sequence:
1.
Press the CONTACT key, the screen will display “ADD?”, then press the ENT key to proceed.
2.
The screen will now display “NUMBER”. Use the keypad to input the target WWE Text Messenger
ID number, then press the ENT key to proceed.
3.
The screen will now display “NAME”. Use the keypad to input the contact name, then press the ENT
key to confirm the new addition to the contact list. (Names have a maximum of 7 characters)
4.
Successful entries to the contact list will be quickly followed by a “SAVED” message on the screen.
(The contacts list has a maximum of 25 entries)
INSTALLER LES PILES
L’Expéditeur du Message WWE fonctionne sur piles. Pour installer les piles, effectuez les étapes suivantes:
1.
Placez l'unité, face avant vers le bas, de façon à accéder au compartiment des piles.
2.
Tournez la pince pour ceintures de 90 degrés dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d’une montre pour
découvrir la vis du compartiment.
3.
À l’aide d’un tournevis Philips, enlevez le compartiment des piles.
4.
Insérez les piles en respectant le sens indiqué dans le compartiment des piles.
* Il est conseillé d’utiliser des piles alcalines pour obtenir la meilleure performance.
ALIMENTER L’EXPÉDITEUR DU MESSAGE WWE
Pour allumer l’Expéditeur du Message WWE, maintenez la touche MARCHE/ARRÊT enfoncée pendant
2 secondes; l’écran affichera l’heure en cours. Pour éteindre l’unité, maintenez la touche MARCHE/ARRÊT
enfoncée pendant 2 secondes.
NOTE:
L’expéditeur du message WWE s’éteindra automatiquement au bout d’1 heure d’inactivité pour
conserver l’autonomie des piles.

EXPÉDITEUR DU MESSAGE
RÉGLER L’HEURE ET ACTIVER/DÉSACTIVER LE SON
Par défaut, l’heure de l’Expéditeur du Message WWE sera 12:00 AM. Pour régler l’heure en cours, suivez
l’ordre clé de ces étapes:
1.
Appuyez sur la touche 0/HEURE ; les chiffres de l'heure commenceront à clignoter.
2.
Utilisez le pavé numérique pour entrer les deux premiers chiffres de l’heure en cours (entrez 08 pour
régler 8:00), puis appuyez sur la touche ENT pour confirmer l’entrée de l’heure.
3.
Les chiffres des minutes commenceront désormais à clignoter. Utilisez le pavé numérique pour entrer les
deux derniers chiffres de l’heure en cours, puis appuyez sur la touche ENT pour confirmer l’entrée des minutes.
4.
Ensuite, réglez l’heure du jour en sélectionnant AM ou PM. Utilisez les touches ENVOYER (flèche du Haut)
ou LIRE (flèche du Bas) pour basculer entre AM/PM, puis appuyez sur la touche ENT pour confirmer la sélection.
Vous disposez également d’une option pour activer/désactiver la sonnerie lors de l'envoi et de la réception de
messages écrits. Après avoir réglé l’heure en cours en suivant les étapes 1-4 ci-dessus, l’écran affichera “VOL
ACTIVÉ”. Utilisez les touches ENVOYER (flèche du Haut) ou LIRE (flèche du Bas) pour activer/désactiver le
volume, puis appuyez sur la touche ENT pour confirmer la sélection.
TROUVER LE NUMÉRO D’IDENTIFICATION DE L’UNITÉ
Pour transmettre un texte, l’utilisateur doit entrer le numéro unique d’identification de l’Expéditeur du
Message de destination. Pour trouver le numéro d’identification à 4 chiffres de chaque Expéditeur du
Message WWE, suivez l’ordre clé de ces étapes:
1.
Appuyez sur la touche CONTACT; l’écran affichera “ADD? ” (AJOUTER?)
2.
Appuyez sur la touche SEND; l’écran affichera “USER ID” (ID UTILISATEUR)
3.
Appuyez sur la touche ENT; l’écran affichera le numéro d’identification à 4 chiffres
Dès que l’utilisateur détient le numéro d’identification de l’Expéditeur du Message cible, il peut commencer à
envoyer des messages en utilisant le numéro d’identification direct ou via une liste de contacts enregistrée.
ENVOYER DES MESSAGES ÉCRITS
Vous pouvez envoyer des textes à un numéro d’identification à 4 chiffres ou via la liste de contacts. Pour
envoyer un texte, suivez l’ordre clé de ces étapes:
1.
Appuyez sur la touche SEND, l’écran affichera “TO?” (VERS?)
2.
Utilisez les touches SEND (flèche du Haut) ou READ (flèche du Bas) pour parcourir la liste de contacts.
Si un contact n’est pas inscrit dans la liste, entrez directement le numéro d’identification à 4 chiffres de
l’Expéditeur du Message de destination.
3.
Appuyez sur la touche ENT ; l’écran affichera “MSG?”
4.
Tapez votre message, puis appuyez sur la touche ENT pour transmettre. L’écran affichera “…” tout en
envoyant un message. (Les messages écrits comportent un maximum de 40 caractères)
a.
Une transmission réussie fera sonner l’Expéditeur du Message WWE et affichera “SENT” (ENVOYER)
sur
l’écran.
b.
Une transmission non réussie affichera “FAILED” (ÉCHOUÉ) sur l’écran.
AJOUTER À LA LISTE DE CONTACTS
Vous pouvez ajouter de nouveaux contacts à la liste manuellement ou par message écrit reçu. Pour ajouter
un contact manuellement, suivez l’ordre clé de ces étapes:
1. Appuyez sur la touche CONTACT, l’écran affichera “ADD?” (AJOUTER), puis appuyez sur la touche
ENT pour poursuivre
2. L’écran affichera maintenant “NUMBER” (NUMÉRO). Utilisez le pavé numérique pour entrer le numéro
d’identification de l’Expéditeur du Message WWE cible, puis appuyez sur la touche ENT pour poursuivre.
3. L’écran affichera maintenant “NAME” (NOM). Utilisez le pavé numérique pour entrer le nom du contact,
puis appuyez sur la touche ENT pour confirmer le nouvel ajout à la liste de contacts. ( Les noms
comportent un maximum de 7 caractères)
4. Les entrées réussies dans la liste de contacts seront rapidement suivies du message “SAVED”
(ENREGISTRÉ) sur l’écran. (La liste de contacts comporte un maximum de 25 entrées)
