WARNING:

Blind Cords may create a

strangulation hazard for young children.

KEEP BLIND CORDS OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.

Your Windoware Shade Cloth Roll Up Blind

comes complete with all parts and fixing

accessories for a quick and easy installation.

The only tools you will require are a 1/8” drill

bit, a Phillips Head screwdriver, tape measure

and a pencil.

STEP 1

First decide where

your Shade Cloth

will go. Keep it rolled

up and hold the

headrail in place

where you would like

it installed.

STEP 2

Check the base

material behind the

headrail to make sure

it is suitable for the

screws provided. Mark

the points where you

will drill holes making

sure to keep the

headrail level.

STEP 3

Drill holes in the

marked points on the

base material.

STEP 4

Position the headrail over the

holes and using the Phillips

Head screwdriver, secure it

to the wall with the screws

provided.

STEP 5

Open the Fabric so it falls full

length. Apply a bit of tension to

the Shade Cloth at the bottom,

connect the anchor plates

onto each end of the base

rail and mark the points where

the anchor plates are to be

secured.
STEP 6

Drill into the base material

at the marked points,

then secure the anchor

plates with the screws

provided.

STEP 7

Now you can place the

base rail in the anchor

plates to hold it in a

fully open drawn down

position.

STEP 8

To install the rope cleat, hold

it in position, mark points,

drill then fix the rope cleat

into position using the screws

provided. The cleat should be

placed so that the pull cord

will be out of reach of children

(at least 1.6m above floor

level). Wind the cord tightly

around the cleat making sure

that none of it can be reached

or grasped by young hands.

To avoid creating a possible strangulation hazard for children, the corded internal window covering must be

installed in such a way that a loose cord cannot form a loop 220mm or longer at a height of less than 1600mm

above floor level.

- A cord guide may be installed lower than 1600mm above floor level if the cord is sufficiently secured or

tensioned to prevent a loop 220mm or longer from being formed.

- If a cord guide is installed lower than 1600mm above floor level it must be designed to prevent a child from

being able to remove the cord.

- If a cleat is used to secure the cord it must be at least 1600mm above floor level because a child is capable of

unwinding a cord from a cleat.
