sponse (ESFR) Pendent Sprin kler SIN
VK500 is a fast re sponse fus ible el e -
ment type sprin kler de signed for early
fire sup pres sion.
With a 14.0 nom i nal K-Factor and spe -
cial de flec tor, this sprin kler pro duces
large, high-momentum wa ter drop lets in

a hemi spheric pat tern be low the de flec -
tor. This per mits pen e tra tion of the fire
plume and di rect wet ting of the burn ing
fuel sur face while cool ing the at mo -
sphere early in the de vel op ment of a
high-challenge fire.
Vi king SIN VK500 ESFR Pen dent Sprin -
klers may be used in the pro tec tion of or -
di nary types of stor age. How ever, they
are pri mar ily in tended to pro tect the fol -
low ing types of stor age, which tend to
pro duce se vere-challenge fires:
palletized and solid pile stor age and sin -
gle, dou ble, mul ti ple row, and por ta ble
rack stor age (no open-top con tain ers or
solid shelves).

klers pro vide pro tec tion of most com -
mon stor age ma te ri als, in clud ing:
