Viking Extended Coverage Horizon

 Concealed Sprinklers are small,

solder link and lever spray sprinklers
designed for installation on concealed
pipe systems.
Equipped with a special deflector, the
sprinklers are designed to meet Light
Hazard density requirements for specific
extended areas of coverage when the
required minimum water supply is pro-
vided at the sprinkler.
After the sprinkler system has been
tested and the ceiling finish applied, the
sprinkler is hidden from view by a low
profile, small-diameter cover plate, in-
stalled flush to the ceiling. The cover
plate is available in several decorative
finishes to meet design requirements.
The  "push on", "thread off" design al
lows for easy installation of the cover
plate, with  up  to  1/2" (12,7 mm) of
vertical adjustment. The "thread off" fea-
ture is designed to prevent unwanted
disengagement of the cover assembly.
The cover assembly can be removed
and reinstalled to permit temporary re-
moval of ceiling panels without taking
the sprinkler system out of service and
removing the sprinkler.
Inside the body of the sprinkler, the de-
flector and sealing assembly are held in
position by a heat-sensitive fusible link.
The sprinklers are listed as standard
response sprinklers when installed
according to the listed 20 ft. x 20 ft.
(6,1 m x 6,1 m) spacing.
 (Refer to the
approval chart on this page for other
listings.)

Listed for this spacing as Quick Resp. Ext. Coverage Sprin-
kler. See Quick Resp. Ext. Coverage Sprinkler page 58 a-d.

Listed for this spacing as Quick Response
Extended Coverage Sprinklers. See Quick Re-
sponse Extended Coverage Sprinkler page 58 a-d.
