S4 Series Fixed-Position Camera Domes
This addendum supplements instructions found in instruction manual XX028-06-00 for the Surveyor4 Series of
Miniature Fixed-Position Camera Domes. It pertains exclusively to Model S4VF-DN (product code 8328-04/
8328-03).
This addendum lists exceptions to instructions manual XX028-06-00 for correct installation of the S4VF-DN.
•
The unit does not require an isolated power supply (page 5). The camera/lens is one unit and the camera
includes an isolated power supply.
•
The camera mounting bracket is attached to the pan bracket. To adjust tilt, loosen the nut on the side of
the pan bracket and move to desired position (page 7).
•
The unit is delivered with a cable assembly connected to the interface PC board, one for power and one
for video (page 4-5).
•
There is a potentiometer (VR1 on the back board of the camera) for phase adjustment for line lock. It is
not on the enclosure (page 8).
•
There is a potentiometer (VR1 on the front board of the camera) for ALC adjustment (page 9).
•
There is a DIP switch on the front camera board that allows the selection of: Switch 1 - ALC (OFF) or
ELC (ON); Switch 2 – Internal (Crystal) Synchronization (OFF) or Line Lock (ON); Switch 3 – AGC (ON or
OFF); Switch 4 – BLC (ON or OFF) (page 8-9).
