Using the External Antenna

The External Antenna is used to enhance reception in areas
where the audio signal is weak. It can be easily repositioned as
needed if audio signal strength changes during travel.
Plug the Antenna’s barrel connector into the External Antenna
Port on the Dock and screw either the suction cup or clip into the
wing antenna end. Attach the wing antenna end:
• to the lower passenger side front window (or other flat surface

location near the vehicle antenna) using the supplied suction
cup, or

• to the sun visor, dashboard, air vents, etc. using the supplied

clip.

CAUTIONS

Position the External Antenna so that it will not
become tangled, crimped or damaged; and make
sure it does not impede the driver’s access to vehicle
controls (turn signals, etc.) or visibility.
NEVER position the External Antenna in front of an
air bag.
