The CoaguChek® XS instrument is for healthcare professionals and their patients to enable 

PoCT for INR (International Normalized Ratio) from a drop of capillary whole blood. It uses fresh 

capillary or nonanticoagulated venous whole blood. It is simple, fast, easy to use and reliable.

How does it work?

Note: Always keep the CoaguChek, lancing device, test 

strips and lancets in the carrycase.

Caution: You must wash your hands before using this device.

When prompted to measure your INR level by myMobile, 

please follow the steps below:

STEP 1

Insert a test strip into the CoaguChek INRange device with 

the arrows showing upwards (this turns the unit on).

STEP 2

Remove the rotating end of the lancing device and insert 

the flat end of a new lancet.

STEP 3

Gently twist the protective cover off the end of the lancet 

and replace the end of the lancing device (it will click when 

replaced properly).
