This user’s guide describes the characteristics, operation, and use of the TPS79801DCQEVM-434
evaluation module (EVM). This EVM demonstrates the Texas Instruments TPS79801, a low-dropout linear
regulator in a SOT223-5 package that is capable of 50 mA of output current. This document includes
setup instructions, a schematic diagram, thermal guidelines, a bill of materials, and printed-circuit board
layout drawings for the EVM.
