The pizza stone allows you to make brick oven-quality pizza 

on your grill. 
Follow all instructions in your grill Operator’s Manual as well as the 

instructions provided on this sheet when using the pizza stone.

INSTALLING THE PIZZA STONE

See Figures 1 - 2

  Using the insert removal tool (if provided with your grill) or 

heat-resistent oven mitts, lift and remove the grate insert 

from your grill.

WARNING:

Combustion by-products produced when using this prod-

use the grill in a well-ventilated area. This product contains

WARNING:

Never place pizza stone in a hot grill. Never attempt to 

remove a hot pizza stone from a grill. This could result in 

accidental contact with the hot pizza stone or grill causing 

serious burns.

  Place the pizza stone in the hole from where the grate insert 

was removed.

 

NOTE: 

Clean pizza stone prior to use. It is not recom-

mended to use soap or detergent.

OPERATING TIPS

  The pizza stone will darken, naturally season and develop 

a nonstick surface over time with use.

  The pizza stone is durable, but it may break or chip if 

dropped, handle it carefully.

  Avoid extreme temperature changes to prevent breakage 

from thermal shock.

  Preheat the stone for approximately 15 minutes and cook 

pizza as directed in recipe.

  When finished cooking, carefully remove the pizza. Wear 

heat-resistant oven mitts and use a pizza peel or other 

long-handled utensil.

CLEANING THE PIZZA STONE

  Allow the grill and the pizza stone to cool completely, then 

remove the pizza stone from the grill

  Use a plastic utensil or scrapper to remove excess food. 

Rinse with water when desired, but do not soak.

 

 NOTE: 

The pizza stone is not dishwasher safe. 

  When not in use, store the pizza stone in your grill’s insert 

storage area (if equipped) or in an enclosed area where it 

will not be exposed to the elements.
