集音以外の目的に使用しない
集音以外の目的でご使用になりますと、思わぬ事故、火災やけがの原
因となることがあります。
使用時は周囲の状況や天候に注意をはらう
周囲の状況や天候を把握しないままご使用になりますと、事故やけが
などの原因となります。
雨のあたる場所や、油煙、湯気、湿気、ほこりの多い場所に設置しない
上記のような場所やこの取扱説明書に記されている仕様条件以外の
環境に設置すると、火災や感電の原因となることがあります。
運搬時には、接続ケーブルを取り外す
本機を運搬する際には、接続ケーブルを必ず取り外してください。
接続ケーブルに引っ掛かると、転倒や落下の原因となることがありま
す。
分解や改造をしない
分解や改造をすると、火災やけがの原因となることがあります。
内部に水や異物を入れない
水や異物が入ると火災や感電の原因となることがあります。万一、水
や異物が入った場合は、すぐに電源を切り、接続ケーブルを抜いて、お
買い上げ店またはソニーのサービス窓口にご相談ください。

電源について
このマイクは外部給電方式専用です。マイクの出力端子  と外部電源機器のソ
ニーの

パワーサプライまたは相当品や、オーディオミキサー、またはカムコー
ダーのマイク端子を接続します。
ご注意
このマイクをカムコーダーなどに接続する前に、

MS stereo captures the surrounding sound field reliably with natural sound
tone and localization.
Monaural recording support

Monaural recording is supported simply by not connecting the R channel

Microphone
When mounting the microphone on a camcorder, make sure that the “UP”
mark on the microphone’s label is facing up.

Output connectors (XLR-3-12C type) (white: L channel, red: R channel)
Outputs the sound captured by the microphone. It also supplies power from
the external power supply.

Wind screen
Attach to the

microphone to reduce wind and breathing noise.

Cable tie
Use this to bundle and fasten the microphone cable.
Sound Pickup Mode
The sound pickup mode is determined by the power supply status from an
external device to the L and R channels, or by the sound pickup mode configured
on the camcorder, as shown in the following table. If the R channel connector is
not connected, sound pickup will be in monaural mode.

Power Supply
This microphone is powered only from an external supply. Connect the output
connector

of the microphone to an external power supply device, such as a
Sony AC power supply or equivalent device, or the microphone connector of an
audio mixer or camcorder.
Notes
Before connecting the microphone to a camcorder or other device, check that
ˎ ˎ
it is equipped with a 40 V to 52 V microphone input connector.
An unbalanced cable cannot be used with this microphone.

Be sure to use a
balanced microphone cable.
Notes on Use
Microphones are delicate. Do not drop, hit, or subject it to excessive shock.

Avoid extended usage or storage in high humidity or temperatures above

60 °C (140 °F).
If acoustic feedback occurs during use (a howling sound is heard from the

speakers), point the microphone away from the speakers or increase the
distance between the microphone and the speakers.

Lorsque vous fixez le microphone sur un caméscope, assurez-vous que le

Tonaufnahmemodus
Der Tonaufnahmemodus wird vom Stromversorgungsstatus der Kanäle
L und R über ein externes Gerät bzw. dem am Camcorder konfigurierten
Tonaufnahmemodus bestimmt wie in der folgenden Tabelle aufgeführt.
Wenn der Steckverbinder des Kanals R nicht angeschlossen ist, erfolgt die
Tonaufnahme im Monomodus.

Stromversorgung
Das Mikrofon kann nur von einer externen Stromquelle versorgt werden.
Verbinden Sie den Ausgangsanschluss

des Mikrofons mit dem
Mikrofonanschluss einer externen Stromversorgung wie beispielsweise ein
AC-Netzteil von Sony oder ein gleichwertiges Gerät, eines Audiomischpults oder
eines Camcorders.
Hinweise
Bevor Sie das Mikrofon mit einem Camcorder oder einem anderen Gerät
ˎ ˎ
verbinden, prüfen Sie, ob dieses über einen Mikrofoneingangsanschluss mit
einer Versorgungsspannung von 40 V bis 52 V verfügt.
Ein unsymmetrisches Kabel kann nicht mit diesem Mikrofon verwendet
ˎ ˎ
werden. Verwenden Sie immer ein symmetrisches Mikrofonkabel.
Hinweise zur Verwendung
Mikrofone sind empfindlich. Lassen Sie diese nicht fallen und schützen Sie sie

vor Stößen.
Vermeiden Sie längere Verwendung oder Lagerung des Mikrofons bei hoher
ˎ ˎ
Luftfeuchtigkeit oder Temperaturen über 60 °C.
Wenn bei der Verwendung akustische Rückkopplung auftritt (es kommen
ˎ ˎ
Heulgeräusche von den Lautsprechern), richten Sie das Mikrofon von
den Lautsprechern weg, oder vergrößern Sie seinen Abstand zu den
Lautsprechern.

Per il montaggio del microfono su un camcorder, assicurarsi che l’indicazione
“UP” riportata sulla targhetta del microfono sia rivolta verso l’alto.
 Connettori di uscita (tipo XLR-3-12C) (bianco: canale sinistro L, rosso:
canale destro R)
Fornisce in uscita il suono acquisito dal microfono. Fornisce anche
alimentazione dall’alimentazione esterna.

Utilizzare questa fascetta per raccogliere il cavo del microfono.
Modalità di acquisizione del suono
La modalità di acquisizione del suono è determinata dallo stato
dell’alimentazione proveniente dall’apparecchiatura esterna sui canali L e
R, nonché dalla configurazione della modalità di acquisizione dell’audio del
camcorder, come indicato nella tabella sottostante. Se il connettore del canale R
non è connesso, il microfono funzionerà in modalità mono.
