To ensure the best performance from your heater, please read and save the following instructions.
WHEN USING ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES, BASIC PRECUATIONS SHOULD ALWAYS BE FOLLOWED TO
REDUCE THE RISK OF FIRE, ELECTRIC SHOCK AND INJURY TO PERSON, INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING:
● Read all instructions before using this heater.
● This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. Use grip handle when provided.
● Keep combustible materials such as drapes, furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least
three (3) feet (0.9m) from the front of heater and keep them at least 1 foot (0.3m) the sides and rear of the heater.
● Extreme caution is necessary when heater is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the heater is
left operating and unattended.
● Always unplug heater when not in use.
● Do not use any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions or has been dropped or
damaged in any manner. Return heater to manufacturer for examination, electrical or mechanical adjustment,
or repair.
● Do not use outdoors.
● This heater is not to be used in bathrooms, laundry areas or other similar indoor locations. Never locate heater
where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container.
● Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners or the like. Arrange cord away
from traffic area where it will not be tripped over.
● To disconnect heater, turn control to OFF then remove plug from outlet.
● Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause electric
shock or fire or damage the heater.
● To prevent possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like
a bed, where openings may become blocked.
● A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline, paint or flammable
liquids are used or stored.
● Use this heater only as directed in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may
cause fire, electric shock or injury to persons.
● Avoid the use of an extension cord because the extension cord may overheat and cause risk of fire. However,
if you must use an extension cord, the cord shall be No. 14AWG minimum size and rated not less than 1875
watts. Never use a single extension cord to operate more than one Heater.
● If the heater will not operate: See specific instructions in Safety Feature explained in this manual.
CLEANING/ MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS:
During Season Care:
● Before cleaning, be sure to turn off and unplug the heater.
● Carefully wipe the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Please be very cautious near the motor and heating elements.
● Do not immerse the heater in water.
● Never use gasoline, benzene or thinner. This will damage the surface of the heater.
● After cleaning, be sure to completely dry the unit with a cloth or towel.
After Season Care:
● Store heater in a cool and dry location with power cord properly secured.
● Please store the unit in its original carton or suitable container.
PRE—OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS:
● Carefully remove your heater from the box (please save the carton for off-season storage)
● Make sure the unit is in the OFF position before plugging the heater into the outlet.
● Place heater on a firm level surface.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS:
● Plug the power cord into a wall outlet (110-120V AC, 60Hz).
● Turn the Selector-Control Knob to desired heat setting (1300W for Low or 1500W for High)
● When the unit is turned on the power indicator light will illuminate to tell you that the heater is functioning.
THERMOSTAT INSTRUCTIONS:
● Before setting the thermostat, allow the heater to operate and warm up the room. You need to set the thermostat
on Hi to start the heater.

● When the desired temperature/comfort level is reached, lower the thermostat setting until the fan/heater stops
operating.
● Turning the knob clockwise will increase the temperature setting.
● The control will now automatically maintain the pre-set temperature level by turning the heater ON and OFF.
Note:It is normal for the heater to cycle ON and OFF as it maintains the preset temperature.To prevent the unit
from cycling,you need to change the thermostat setting.

AUTOMATIC OVERHEAT SAFETY CONTROL DEVICE:
This heater is equipped with a patented,technologically-advanced safety internal heat limiting thermostat and
overheat protection circuit. When a potential overheat temperature is reached, the system will automatically shut
the heater off.

● Do NOT attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or mechanical functions on this unit.
WARRANTY INFORMATION:
1 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY:
Soleil Heaters doing business as Geneva industrial Group Inc. warrants that for a period of one
year from the date of purchase, this product will be free from defects in material and workmanship.
Soleil Heaters/Fans at its option, will repair or replace this product or any component of the product
found to be defective during the warranty period. Replacement will be made with a new product
or component. If the product is no longer available, replacement may be made with a similar
product of equal or greater value. This is your exclusive warranty. DO NOT attempt to repair or
adjust any electrical or mechanical functions on this product. Doing so will void this warranty.
Keep the original sales receipt. Proof of purchase is required to obtain warranty performance.
This warranty does not cover normal wear of parts or damage resulting from any of the following:
negligent use or misuse of the product, use on improper voltage or current, use contrary to the
operating instructions, disassembly, repair or alteration. The warranty does not cover: Acts of
God, such as fire, flood, hurricanes and tornadoes.

CUANDO SE USEN APARATOS ELECTRICOS, SIEMPRE DEBERAN SER USADAS PRECAUSIONES BASICAS,
PARA REDUCIR EL RIESGO DE FUEGO, UN CHOQUE ELECTRICO O ERIR A UNA TERCERA PERSONA.
Deberan seguirse precauciones basicas incluyendo las siguientes:
● Lea todas las instrucciones antes de usar el calentador.
● Este calentador se calienta cuando es usado, para evitar cualquier quemadura en la piel, no toque la superficie
de el calentador directamente, use las agarraderas si es que este tubiena en caso de moverlo.
● Guarde todo material que pueda encender tales como: percians, muebles, almoadas, colchas, papeles, ropa
y cortinas., retiradas cuando menos 30 Centimetros a el rededor de el calentador.
● Extremada precaucion es necesaria cuando el Calentador se usado cercano niños o minusvalidos, siempre
que el calentador este sin cuidado alguno.
● Siempre desconecte el calentador cuando no lo use.
● No use el calentador si el cable, clavija estan dañados o esta funcionado mal, a sufrido una caida o a sido
dañado de alguna manera. Regrese el calentador a el fabricante para una inspeccion electrica, mecanica o
para reparacion.
● Este calentador no debera ser usado en el baño, areas de lavanderia o areas similares y nunca lo coloque en
una superficie en donde pueda caer en la tina de baño o algun contenedor que contenga agua.
● Nunca pase el cordon por debajo de la alfonbra, nunca cobra el cable con ropa, o con material parecido.
Coloque el cordon fuera de el area de paso para evitar que puedan tropezar con este.
● Para desconectar el calentador, primero apagelo y despues lo desconecta.
● No inserte o permita que estraños objetos entren por el area de ventilacion o de escape.
para prevenit un incendio, no bloque las entradas o salidas de aire. Nunca lo use en areas blandas, tales como:
la cama en donde las entradas y salidas de aire puedan ser obstruidos.
● El calentador tiene partes calientes y a el rojo vivo internamente, no lo use en areas donde aya gasolina, pintura
o liquidos flammables ayan sido guardados.
● Use este calentador como a esta descrito en este manual. Cualquier otra forma de uso no recomendada por
el fabricante puede causar un incendio, riesgo de un choque electrico o dañar a terceras personas.
● Evite el uso de una extension, ya que la extension puede sobrecalentarse y causar un incendio. Pero…! Si
necesita usar de una extension, la medida de cable debera ser de el numero 14 y que soporte un minimo de
1875 watts y tampoco utilize una extension para conectar multiples calentadores.
● Si el calentador no enciende. Mire las instrucciones de seguridad expresadas en este manual.
INSTRUCCIONES DE LIMPIEZA Y MANTENIMIENTO:
Epoca de Cuidado:
● Antes de limpiarlo, esegurece de que este apagado.
● Cuidadosamente limpiea la unidad con un trapo blando y umedo. Porfavor use precaucion cuando este
limpiando cercano a el motor o los elementos de calentamiento.
● No sumerja el calentador en algun recipiente con agua.
● Nunca use gasoline, acetone o thinner. Estos puede dañar la superficie de el calentador.
● Despues de limpiarlo completamente, asegurese de secar con un trapo o una toalla.
Después de la limpieza:
● Guarde el calentador en un lugar fresco y seco con el cordon propiamente recogido.
● Porfavor guade la unidad en el carton original, o en algo parecido a esto.

ISNTRUCCIONES ANTES DE SU USO
● Cuidadosamente saque el calentador de la caja (Porfavor guarde la caja original, para cuando la temporada
de calor termine y lo pueda guradar).
● Asegurese de que la unidad este apagada antes de conectar el calentador.
● Ponga el calentador en una superficie plana y pareja.

INSTRUCCIONES DE OPERACION
● Conecte el calentador a la pared (110-120 V AC 60Hz)
● Ponga el switch en prendido o apagodo sengun lo que usted elija. Low 1300W, HI 1500 W
● Cuando el calentador este prendido la luz se prendera, indicando que el calentador esta trabajando.
INSTRUCCIONES DE EL TERMOSTATO
● Antes de configurar el termostato, permita que el calentador, empieze y caliente el cuarto, usted debera poner
el switch en HI, a el encender el calentador.
● Cuando la temperature deseada a sido alcanzada disminuya el nivel de temperature asta el punto de FAN,
asta que el calentador se apage.
● Dandole vuelta a el switch de igual manera que las manecillas de el reloj, incrementara la temperature
predeterminada.
● El termostato automaticamente ahora mantendra la temperature predeterminada, encendiendoce y apagandose.
● Es normal que dentro de el circulode trabajo de el calentador se prenda y se apage, si usted necesita cambiar
la temperature debera cambiar la configuracion de el termostato.

Este calentador esta equipado con un Termostato Interno Tecnologicamente Avanzado y un circuito de seguridad
de sobrecalentmiento. Cuando a sido alcazado el punto mas alto en la temperature.

un año a partir de la fecha de la compra, este producto estará gratuito de defectos en material y la habilidad.
Los calentadores de Soleil en su opción, repararán o substituirán este producto o cualquier componente del
producto cuando el período de la garantía. El reemplazo será hecho con un producto o un componente nuevo.
Si el producto está no más disponible, el reemplazo se puede hacer un producto similar igual o gran valor. Ésta
es su garantía exclusiva. No se puede intentar o ajustar ninguna funciones eléctrica o mecánica en este producto.
Se hace esto evitará la garantía.
