Instruction Guide 

GETTING STARTED

Before using the main unit and transmitter:

1.

Remove the battery door of the main unit and
transmitter.

2.

Insert 2 new AA size batteries for both main unit and
transmitter, according to the polarity mark on the
battery compartment.

3.

Replace the battery door.

4.

After the batteries are inserted, all LCD segment will
be shown.

5.

Press the “RESET” key of main unit first, then press
the “RESET” key of transmitter.

6.

It will automatically receive 433 MHz signal from
transmitter for channel test  in 8 seconds.

7.

After 5 minutes channel test, it will turn to RC signal
reception automatically.

MAIN FEATURES

Main unit

1. LCD display
    -

Display of the Time, Alarm time/Date, indoor&outdoor
Temperature and Weather forecast.

2. SNOOZE/LIGHT key
    -

Press it to turn on the backlight and projector.

    -

When the alarm is sounding, press it to stop the
current alarm and activate snooze.

3. CLCOK SET key
    -

Press it to switch between Alarm1/Alarm2/Date mode.

    -

Press and hold it for 2 seconds to enter time setting
mode.

    -

In time setting mode, press it to step the setting item.
Or press and hold it for 2 seconds to save and exit the
setting.

4. ALARM SET key
    -

In Date mode, press it to turn on/off Alarm 1&Alarm2.

    -

In Alarm 1 mode, press it to turn on/off Alarm1.

    -

In Alarm 2 mode, press it to turn on/off Alarm2.

    -

In Alarm1/Alarm 2 mode, press and hold it for 2
seconds to enter Alarm 1/Alarm2 setting mode.

    -

In Alarm setting mode, press it to step the setting
item, or press and hold it for 2 seconds to exit the
setting.

5. CH/+ key
    -

In normal mode, Press it to select channel 1/2/3.

    -

Press and hold it for 2 seconds to turn to channel
auto-change mode. Press it again to return to normal
mode.

    -

In setting mode, press it to adjust the value of flashing
digit upward. And press it without releasing to speed
up the adjusting.

6. MEM/- key
    -

Press it to check the Max./Min. indoor&outdoor
temperature records for 5 seconds.

    -

In record mode, press and hold it for 2 seconds to
delete the Max.&Min. records.

    -

In setting mode, press it to adjust the value of flashing
digit downward. And press it without releasing to speed
up the adjusting.

7. °C/°F key
    -

Select temperature unit between °C/°F.

8. SENSOR key
    -

Press it to start current 433 MHz channel test for main
unit & transmitter.

        -

During the channel test, press and hold it for 3 seconds
to manual turn off the display of channel test.

9. RECEIVE key
    -

Press and hold it for 8 seconds to turn on/off RC
function.

    -

When the RC function is ON, press it to turn on/off
manual reception for RC signal.

10. RESET key
    -

In case of mal-function, press it by using a metal pin
to reset all the values.

11. REVERSE key
    -

Press it to reverse the projected data.

12. Projector
        -

Project the temperature and weather forecast indicator.

13. FOCUS knob
    -

Adjust the quality of the projected data.

14. PROJECTION ON/OFF slide switch

This function only applicable when powered by DC  adaptor.

    -

Slide to ON position to keep projection continuous ON
or vice versa.

15. LIGHT ON/OFF slide switch

This function only applicable when powered by DC  adaptor.

    -

Slide to ON position to keep backlight continuous ON
or vice versa.

16. L/H slide switch

Set backlight brightness.

    -

Slide to L position for dimmer backlight.

    -

Slide to H position for brighter backlight.

17. Battery compartment

TRANSMITTER:

1. LED indicator
    -

Flashes when the remote unit transmitting a reading.

2. CHANNEL slide switch
    -

Assign the transmitter to Channel 1, 2 or 3.

3. RESET key
    -

Press it to reset the transmitter.

4. Wall-mounting holder
    -

Use it to support the transmitter on the wall.

5. Battery compartment

SIGNAL STRENGTH INDICATOR

The signal indicator displays signal strength in 4 levels.
Wave segment flashing means time signals are being
received. The signal quality could be classified into 4
types:

If the RC clock receives signal successfully, a sync-time
symbol “

 ” will appear on the LCD. The unit has already

received the time signal. Otherwise the signal strength
symbol will disappear from the LCD display.

Note:

You may press “RCC” key to receive the time signal
manually. The receive mode will be off automatically after
6-16 minutes. Receive mode consumes more battery power
that may reduce battery lifetime.

DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME(DST)

The clock has been programmed to automatically switch

when daylight saving time is in effect. Your clock will display
“DST” on the LCD during the summer.

TIME AND CALENDAR SETTING

If the clock does not receive the time signal successfully,
you can set the time manually. As soon as the transmitter
is received again, the clock will automatically synchronize
with the received time.
1.

In normal mode, press and hold “CLOCK SET” key for
2 seconds until the Hour format digit flashing.

2.

Press “+” / “-” key to select 12/24 hour format.

3.

Press “CLOCK SET” key again to step the setting
item to Hour with the Hour digit flashing.

4.

Press “+” / “-” key to adjust the value of the flashing

WWVB version: 12/24 Hr > Time zone > Hour > Minute
> Second > Year > D&M/M&D > Month > Date >
Language.

6.

Press and hold “DISPLAY SET” key for 3 seconds to
save and exit the setting.

ALARM TIME SETTING

1.

In normal mode, press “CLOCK SET” key to select
Alarm1/Alarm 2 mode.

2.

In alarm 1/alarm 2 mode, press and hold “ALARM
SET” key for 2 seconds to enter alarm time setting
mode with the Hour digit flashing.

3.

Press “+”/”-” key to adjust the value of flashing digit.

4.

Press “ALARM SET” key again to step the setting
item to Minute with Minute digit flashing. And press
“+”/”-” key to adjust the value of flashing digit.

5.

Press “ALARM SET” key again to save and exit the
setting.

Note:
1. The unit can operate up to 3 remote transmitters.
2. Position the unit and transmitter within the effective
transmission range: 50 meters in usual circumstances.
3. In some cases, you may not receive the signal immediately,
you can reset the unit and transmitter again as described above.

Note:

If your local time is different from the RC received time,
you can set the desired time zone.

For WWVB version,

the default time zone is Pacific. If

your location is out of the time zone, you can select the
desired time zone. There are four time zones to select:
P=Pacific, M=Mountain, C=Central, E=Eastern.
