INFRARED BEAM PHOTOCELL SUNSET BAT

General

The photoelectric barrier SUNSET BAT 23102106 has been planned in order to place the transmitter on the movable leaf of the gate, as well as in order to quicken
the installation activities, guaranting at the same time the reliability on the field. For its use it is necessary to install the safety edge on the movable leaf. The high
resistance plastic provides classic styling plus the strength required to stand the test of time.

INSTALLATION

Transmitter

- Place the transmitter on the movable leaf, connecting it in series to the safety edge. Insert
the cables in the appropriate place and make the connections as in   Fig. 2.
- Put the photovoltaic panel in a position that guarantees the solar radiation.
- Adjust the cable within the unit to eliminate any surplus.
- Fix the unit as shown in figure 4.
- Seal the cover & cable entry to prevent insect infestation.

Photovoltaic Panel

Receiver

- Place the receiver on the frame of the gate and align it to the transmitter. Insert the cables in the appropriate place and make the connections as in Fig. 2.,
Connecting the n.c. contact of the receiver to the entry “safety edge” of the control board or to the entry “photocell”. In case of connection to the entry “safety
edge”, the interruption of the ray will cause a partial inversion of the movement, on the contrary in case of connection to the entry “photocell” you will get a total
inversion.
- Adjust the cable within the unit to eliminate any surplus.
- Fix the unit as shown in figure 3.
- Take care in positioning, verify the alignment and height will be the same as that of the transmitter.
- Seal the cover & cable entry to prevent insect infestation.
Operational set-up and testing
- Power-up the photocell RX (12-24 Volts ~/           ).

Please Note:

The correct working of the 23102106 photocell is indicated by the red led being lit.

Note:

The duration of the battery is of max. 12 months depending on the condition of use and on atmospheric conditions.

Operational Verification

Fit one of the black plastic photocell covers complete with an opaque diffuser label stuck across the lens.
-   Check that the relay works correctly.
-   Check that the red led goes out when the beam is broken.

Red led Function:

RED LED LIT: CORRECTLY ALIGNED. NORMAL QUIESCENT STATE.
RED LED UNLIT: INCORRECTLY ALIGNED OR BEAM INTERRUPTED.
