Multi Voltage Plug Adaptor - Battery Eliminator

STOP PAYING FOR BATTERIES!

Your RINGGRIP POWERPACK has been
designed to faithfully convert Mains Power
(from a regular power point) into DC power for
battery operated electronic equipment. With
the POWERPACK, if you can fi nd an outlet
to plug into you don’t need to use batteries.
The RINGGRIP POWERPACK will work with
portable CD’s, Tape Recorders, Calculators,
Radios, Electronic Games, Answering
Machines, Computer Accessories, Electric
Goods and more. You can forget about ‘fl at’
batteries with the POWERPACK and save
money from the moment you plug it in.

INSTALLATION

The RINGGRIP POWERPACK has many
different settings to ensure compatibility with
most electronic accessories. Choosing the
right setting for your equipment is easy if you
follow the instructions below.

  Warning: If set incorrectly, POWERPACK
  may damage connected equipment. Read
  all instructions carefully before use.

Tip

Refer to the instruction / specifi cation slip
that came with your equipment before you
connect to the POWERPACK. This information
will be helpful later.

POWERPACK: 3 simple steps

1.  Check your equipment: a) voltage, b)

current requirements, c) polarity and d)

connecting plug type.

2.  Set the RINGGRIP POWERPACK voltage
 switch.

3.  Set the RINGGRIP POWERPACK polarity
 (+

or-)

1………………..Check Your Equipment

a) Voltage:

Find out the Voltage required

for your equipment. This may be in the

product instructions, embossed in the

battery compartment or even stamped

next to the power socket. Write the

 Voltage

down.

b) Current:

 Find out the maximum current

draw. See step a) for location of this

information. If you are uncertain of the

current draw call the manufacturer /

distributor and fi nd out. POWERPACK

is able to supply products that draw up to

 500mA

(milli-amps).

Tip

An inbuilt safety mechanism will shut
POWERPACK down if an overload is detected.
Reset will only occur after equipment (the
load) has been disconnected, and the
POWERPACK allowed to cool. This may take
a few minutes. A product that continuously
overloads POWERPACK will render it
inoperative and void warranty.
