Thank you for purchasing this replacement ReplayTV RTV5000 upgrade drive.  We’ve
done everything possible to check and test this drive.  All you have to do now is to swap
the drive in your ReplayTV unit with this one.

WARNING:  Opening your ReplayTV 5000 Chassis voids your warranty with  Digital
Networks North America.

WARNING:  Make sure your ReplayTV box is UNPLUGGED before you perform this 
procedure.  Even though it is turned off, the box is constantly powered.

WARNING:  Make sure you discharge yourself of static electricity before you perform 
the swap.  You can do this by touching the metal part of the chassis periodically.

Remove the chassis cover by removing the 3 screws on each side of the RTV5000 and 4 
from the back as in the pictures below.

Carefully lift the cover off by tilting it up from the back.  Remove the cover and place it 
in a safe location.
