UHF/VHF TV ANTENNA

Your UHF/VHF TV Antenna is com-
pact, easy-to-install and provides su-
perb reception for UHF and VHF TV
stations.

Your Antenna includes these features:

Four-Section Telescoping Chrome
Arms
— swivel up to180° for the best
VHF and FM reception.

High-Gain UHF Loop — lets you re-
ceive UHF stations in most metropoli-
tan areas.

Weighted Felt Base — will not mar or
scratch a TV cabinet.

Connecting and Operating
the Antenna

1. Place the antenna on top of the

TV set or near the FM receiver.

2. If your receiver has a 75-ohm FM

connector, screw the antenna's
cable F-connector onto the TV's
antenna terminals or your FM re-
ceiver's antenna terminals. Then
turn the connector clockwise to
tighten and secure the connection.

Note: If your receiver has a 300-
ohm twin-lead connector, you
need an optional adapter (avail-
able at your local RadioShack
store). Screw the adapter onto the
antenna cable. Then tighten and

secure the adapter's lead to the TV's
antenna terminals or receiver's FM
terminals.

3. Individually adjust the length and

position of the antenna rods to get
the best reception.

Note: Some rooms have dead
spots, or null points, where no TV
signals can be received. If the re-
ception is poor, move the antenna
for maximum performance.

For the best VHF/FM reception, extend
the antenna rods as follows:

• Channels 7–13:

1

/

to

fully extended

• FM Stations:

3

/

4

 to fully extended

For the best UHF reception, rotate the
antenna base.
