Thank you for purchasing a RadioShack 6-Outlet Appliance Wall Tap Surge Protector. Your
surge protector protects your valuable electronic devices from damage caused by sudden
electrical spikes and surges. It absorbs electrical spikes and power surges and ensures reliable
performance of connected devices by filtering electromagnetic and radio frequency
interference.

Condition

The PROTECTED WHEN LIT indicator does
not light.

Solution

The surge protector's AC line is no longer
protected from surges; replace the surge
protector. The surge protector may have
received a power surge or spike beyond its
specified limits that might overload the
protection circuitry and make it inactive. If this
happened, the surge protector should have
absorbed enough of the surge to protect the
connected equipment, but it will not protect
against future surges and spikes
