• Bicycle Tail Light (batteries installed)
• Seat post mount
• Seat stay/fork mount insert (Gray)
• Large elastic band with pull tab
• Small elastic band with pull tab

• 2 AAA
• Alkaline (LR03)
• Rechargeable NiCad or NiMH

• Never mix fresh and used batteries.
• Never mix different battery brands or chemistry types.
• Always remove drained batteries immediately.
• Remove batteries during long periods of storage.

NOTE: Rechargeable NiCad or NiMH batteries may
result in reduced brightness due to lower nominal voltage.

If the Swerve™ fails to light:
• Check the batteries for proper installation.
• Replace batteries if proper installation is confirmed.
• Check the light for water contamination on the circuit
board. The light will resume normal operation once
the water is shaken or blown out and the light is left
   open until completely dry.

• Use the smallest elastic ring.
• Hook the ring into the side of the bracket barrel with
the R hook to hold the elastic band in position.
• Locate the pull tab of the ring directly opposite of the
   R catch.
• With the mount pressed against the seat stay or fork,
loop the ring around it and pull the tab to latch the
ring onto the opposite side of the bracket barrel.
• Mount the light. Slide the lights clip into the bracket
from the top until it locks into position.
• Rotate the light to the desired position.
• Pull the elastic band out a little to allow the elastic
band to “self adjust” to the new position and release.

• Remove the gray seat stay/fork insert from the
   mounting bracket.
• Use the appropriate sized elastic band for your seat
   post diameter.
• Hook the ring into the side of the bracket barrel with
the R hook to hold the elastic band in position.
• Locate the pull tab of the ring directly opposite of the
   R catch.
• Mount the light. Slide the lights clip into the bracket
from the top until it locks into position.
• With the mount pressed against the seat post, loop
the ring around it and pull the tab to latch the ring
onto the opposite side of the barrel.
• Rotate the light to the desired position.
• Pull the elastic band out a little to allow the elastic
band to “self adjust” to the new position and release.

To remove the light from the bracket, push the light clip
back a little as you are pulling the light up out of the
bracket.

To install the batteries, use a coin in the coin slots to
unlatch the back housing from the front. Open the
Swerve by inserting a coin in the first slot. Rotate the
coin to pop the first latch. Now place the coin in the
second slot to complete the opening operation.

Install two AAA batteries according to the polarity
markings on the inside of the battery compartment.
Observe proper battery polarity when installing the
batteries. Improper installation of the batteries will
damage the light and void the warranty.

To close - Align the coin slots of the rear housing with
the seal cut outs on the front assembly and squeeze
them together until they click closed.

Modes (Off, Steady On and Flash) are selected by
rotating the switch to the appropriate symbol printed
on the red housing.      is for Flash and

  is for Steady

On. The center position is off.

You may rotate the rear housing 180º so the switch is
located on the opposite side when the light is clipped
into the mounting bracket. You must also rotate the
(white) seal 180º so the coin slots on the seal line up
with the coin slots on the rear housing.
