Olympus BX60 QuickStart Guide
Turn on computer and monitor
Log into BOCK-‐LOCI computer using
Username: lociuser
Password: 0BockID
Turn on the transmitted light switch
in the
back, lower right-‐hand side
of
the Olympus BX60.
Adjust light to approximately 50% on
the front plate of the lamp housing of
the scope
on the right of the
Olympus BX60.
Pull out the ocular slider in the
teaching oculars on the right-‐hand
side.
If the slider is in, it will block
the signal to CellSens and you will not
be able to detect your sample in the
software.
Open field diaphragm fully,
counterclockwise.
Open condenser fully, turn the slider
to the left.
For bright field, non-‐polarized image,
check to make sure that the polarizing
filters are out:
Line at 90, or 270
