Headset Functions

1. Charging Your Headset :

To prolong the battery life, it is recommended to fully 

charge your headset. The red LED indicator will light up 

showing that the unit is being charged. When charging is 

complete, the red LED will turn off. When the battery is 

running low, the LED will flash red. 

2. Pairing Your Headset :

1.  First turn the phone OFF and then back ON again to  

  refresh its memory.
2.  Bring the phone to about 30cm from NoiseHush  

  “N550” headset.
3.  Find the Bluetooth menu in your phone. Turn  

  Bluetooth ON. (See your phone’s user guide)
4.  With the NoiseHush headset OFF, press and hold the  

  Function button for about 8 seconds until the LED  

  flashes blue to red.
5.  Your headset is now ready to be discovered by your  

  Bluetooth phone.

6.  Perform a Bluetooth device discovery on your phone  

  to add a new device. It takes a few seconds to  

  discover other Bluetooth devices around you.
7.  When Bluetooth devices are found, the phone will  

  display NoiseHush “N550”. Scroll to it and press OK to  

  confirm that you want to pair with it.
8.  Enter the Passkey "0000" when your phone prompts  

  you. The phone will now pair with the headset.
9.  If your Bluetooth phone menu supports it "set as  

  authorized "or" add to trusted devices".
10. Again, select the NoiseHush "N550” or press the  

  Function button to connect with the phone.

11. If the pairing is not successful, the Headset will return  

  to the standby mode after awhile, please repeat the  

  pairing process to try the pairing again.
12. Refer to your phone’s user manual for any additional  

  steps.

**Blue LED indicator blinks once every 4 seconds when 

it’s paired with your phone and once every 8 seconds 

when it is not paired.

3. Power ON your Headset :

Press and hold the Function button for 4 seconds until 

you hear a short beep and the indicator light flashes blue 

3 times. Now the headset will enter into STANDBY MODE. 

If no paired phone is in range or no phone has been 

paired, the “N550” will enter Standby mode.

4. Power OFF your Headset :

Press and hold the Function button 4 seconds until you 

hear a short beep and the indicator light flashes red 3 

times.

5. Answering/Ending a Call :

 

Press the Function button once when there is an 

incoming call to Answer. Press the Function button once 

again to end the call.

6. To Activate Voice Dialing : 

Rapidly press the Function button twice, then you will 

hear two beeps. Say the voice tag as soon as you hear the 

beep. Make sure your phone supports the voice dialing 

function, and you have prerecorded the voice tag into 

your phone. (See your phone’s user guide)

7. Redialing Last Number :

Press and hold Function button for 2 seconds until you 

hear the beep, then release immediately.

8. To Adjust the Volume :

Click the Volume Up or Volume Down button during a 

call. Adjust to the desired level. The volume level you set 

will be remembered by the NoiseHush “N550” and used 

on the next call. * To use these functions, your 

phone/device must support the Bluetooth Handsfree 

Profile.

9. Music Features :

 

1. Play/Pause Function : 

  Once the music is selected from your phone (See your  

  phone’s user guide), press the Function button once  

  for music to pause and press again to play. 

2. To Forward (>>) arrow down 

  Press the Function button to skip and play the next  

  song.

3. To Play Back (<<) arrow up 

  Press the Function button to return to the last song.

Note: Make sure your phone supports AVRCP Bluetooth 

Profile for remote-control functions and A2DP for Music 

capability.

10. Disconnecting :

Please turn off paired “N550” headset or disconnect the 

headset from the Bluetooth menu of your phone.

Note: To conserve battery, NoiseHush “N550” will

automatically turn off if it’s not paired with your phone.
