THE SOURCE WARRANTY
The Source warrants that this product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of purchase. Within this period,
simply take the product and your proof of purchase to any The Source store or dealer and the product will be repaired without charge for parts and labour. The Source reserves
the right to charge for transportation. Any product which has been subject to misuse or accidental damage is excluded from this warranty.
This warranty is only applicable to a product purchased through The Source company owned stores and dealers and to a product that is presented for repair in a country where
The Source offers the product for sale. While this warranty does not confer any legal rights other than those set out above, you may have additional statutory rights which will
vary under the laws of the various countries, states, province and other governmental entities in which The Source operates. This warranty is subject to all statutory rights you
may have in the country of purchase.

INTRODUCTION
Thank you for purchasing the Nexxtech™ LCD Desktop Alarm with Calendar.
Your alarm clock features an oversized flat screen LCD display for easy
viewing. The display shows time, calendar with month and date along with an
indoor temperature reading featuring Celcius or Fahrenheit. This clock
features smart light technology that dimly illuminates the clock in the dark,
allowing you to easily see the time. The alarm has a 5 minute snooze function
and a blue LED backlight display. 12/24 time format can be selected. Clock
requires 3 AA batteries (not included) for operation.
BATTERY INSTALLATION AND REPLACEMENT
1. Open battery compartment at the bottom of clock base.
2. Install three fresh AA size alkaline batteries with “
+
” and “
-
” as shown in
battery compartment.
3. Replace and latch battery compartment cover.
4. Replace batteries once each year, or whenever display fades or becomes
erratic.
SELECTING THE MODE SETTINGS
1.
MODE
switch is located on the back right side of clock.
2.
LOCK
indicates Normal Timekeeping mode.
TIME
in display window indicates Time Setting mode.
ALARM
in display window indicates Alarm Setting mode.
DATE
in display window indicates Date Setting mode.
TEMPERATURE DISPLAY
1. Local temperature is displayed on the lower left corner of the LCD
display.
2. In Normal Timekeeping mode (
LOCK
), press the
C/F
button to switch
display between degrees Celsius and degrees Fahrenheit.
SETTING THE TIME
1. Set 12/24 hour clock.
In Normal Timekeeping mode (
LOCK
), press the
12/24 /YEAR
button to
select 12 hour (AM and PM) time display, or 24 hour time display.
2. Slide MODE switch to Time Setting mode (
TIME
). Time display will flash.
Advance Hour by pressing the
HOUR/MONTH
button.
Advance Minutes by pressing the
MINUTE/DATE
button.
SETTING THE DATE
1. Slide MODE switch to Date Setting mode (
DATE
).
Year and Date display will flash.
Advance Year by pressing the
12/24/YEAR
button (if current year is
passed while setting, clock will continue to year 2099 before beginning
again at year 2004).
Advance Month by pressing the
HOUR/MONTH
button.
Advance Date by pressing the
MINUTE/DATE
button.
SETTING THE ALARM
1. Slide MODE switch to Alarm Setting mode (
ALARM
).
Alarm Time display on lower right will flash. Advance alarm hour by
pressing the
HOUR/MONTH
button.
(In 12 hour mode, note AM or PM indication.)
Advance alarm minutes by pressing the
MINUTE/DATE
button.
2. Slide MODE switch to Normal Timekeeping mode (
LOCK
).
3. Turn alarm ON or OFF using the
ALARM
switch.
Bell icon will be displayed to indicate alarm is ON.
4. Alarm will sound for 60 seconds at indicated time.
5. When alarm sounds, press
SNOOZE/LIGHT
button on the base of the
clock to silence alarm for approximately 5 minutes. Snooze can be
repeated each time alarm sounds.
6. To silence the alarm for 24 hours, slide the
ALARM
switch to the OFF
position.
BACKLIGHT OPERATION
1. Backlight will operate automatically based on darkness of room so clock
display can always be seen.
(Note that constant use of backlight function will decrease battery life.)
2. To activate bright backlight at any time, press the
SNOOZE/LIGHT
button on the base of the clock. Backlight will operate for approximately
5 seconds.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
1. To clean, wipe clock case with dry or damp cloth. Never spray water or
cleaner directly onto the clock display or surface.
2. Replace batteries once each year, or whenever display fades or
becomes erratic.
3. To clear all settings from the clock, or if settings become erratic or
unstable, use a pen point, paper clip, or similar object to depress the
RESET
button at the back of the clock.
