NEC CONTEST CELEBRATES INNOVATIVE CLASSROOMS AND BOARDROOMS

One School and Government Branch or Company Will Win Five NEC Projectors

CHICAGO, August 28, 2006 – Do you have a truly inspirational story about how a projector or plasma display

changed your classroom or conference room? NEC Corporation of America (NEC), an industry leader in

projectors and plasma displays, wants to reward the most unique, creative applications of display technology.

Teachers and professionals can submit their story and picture of their room, and the best education and

business application will win five NEC LT30 projectors.  In addition, the public can cast their vote for their

favorite submission on NEC’s website!

“We are constantly amazed by the many different ways that NEC customers think to use our projectors and

plasmas,” said Pierre Richer, senior vice president, NEC Corporation of America, Visual Systems Division.

“We figured a contest like this would be a great way to showcase their creativity, while also giving them the

opportunity to win five NEC projectors!”

Entering the contest is easy – simply fill out the online entry form along with a short description and a photo of

the innovative room using display products.  The education entry form is located at:

and the government and business site is:
