1. Preparation 

 

•  Before beginning assembly, compare parts with package    

 

  contents list to make sure all are present. If any part is  

 

 

  missing or damaged, do not attempt to assemble  

 

  the product. 

 

•  Required tools:  Phillips Head screw driver 

2. Assembly

 

 

•  Determine if your fence or deck posts measure at 4”x 4” or   

 

  6” x 6”.  If they are 6” x 6” you will need to remove the post    

 

  adaptor bracket.

 

•  Attach the cap light unit over the post and pull the light wire  

 

  to hang over the side toward the transformer wire.  Screw  

 

  in the mounting screws (C) through side holes in the light    

 

  body (A).

3. Installation

 

 

•  From the transformer (sold separately) run a wire  

 

  (sold separately) along the base of the fence or deck.

 

•  Secure the Connector Clip (B) to the transformer wire, as    

 

  shown above.

 

•  Repeat this process for every post cap light installed.

 

•  Test the connection by turning on the lights. Make any  

 

 

  desired adjustments. 

 

•  Complete the install by tacking the transformer wire under   

 

  the lip of the deck or burying along the fence line in a small    

 

  trench and back filling with dirt.

ASSEMBLY AND INSTALLATION

WARNING: 

The wire connector (B) contacts have sharp edges for piercing the 

main low voltage cable. To avoid injury, do not touch the metal contacts.

CAUTION: 

The wire from low voltage power unit should be 12-18 AWG type 

underground Low Energy Circuit Cable.

IMPORTANT: 

•   Do not submerge the fixture in water.

•   Do not install the fixture within  

 

10 ft. of water.

• 

The landscape wire can also be  

 

hidden under surface.

• 

Protect the wiring by routing it in  

 

close proximity to the light fixture,  

 

or next to a building structure.
