Installation of Navitar/ NuView Series 637 lens on NEC model MT860,
MT1060, MT1065 & MT1075 projectors

TOOLS REQUIRED

:

PHILLIPS HEAD SCREWDRIVER, 2.5mm LONG ARM ALLEN
WRENCH.

Disassembly

1.  Disconnect unit from power source and place projector with lens facing up.  Remove

two (2) screws from bottom of lens cover. Remove cover and set aside for
reinstallation.

2.  Remove four 3/32” hex head screws holding prime lens in place, disconnect two wire

harness connectors and remove prime lens.

Assembly

1.  Separate your Navitar lens and adapter (except on MCZ275) by gently rotating the

lens counterclockwise while holding the adapter.

DO NOT

 place undo pressure on

the lens to separate as this may result in damage to the nylon drive pin.

2.  Using the four (4) fillister head screws supplied, install the adapter correct side up

into the projector

3.  Replace the front cover of the projector removed in step 1, above.

4.  To focus, gently twist the front of lens.  To zoom, loosen thumbscrew and twist

knurled ring (zoom lenses only, of course).  Re-tighten thumbscrew.  CAUTION: Do
not twist entire lens out of adapter!  On MCZ275 models twist the inner knurled ring
to zoom and twist the outer knurled ring to focus the lens.
