OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Your added audio source can now be selected by
supplying 12v+ to the blue cable. Possibly using a
remote out from the added source, or external
switch.
When activated the added audio will switch to
override the factory audio. Selecting another source
i.e. radio from the head unit, or removing the 12V+
from the blue cable will return to factory audio.
If you have de-activated the added audio source by
selecting a factory source you must then, to
re-activate the added audio source supply a 12v+ to
the Blue cable, this may mean the external switch (if
used) will have to be tuned off then on to activate.
It is not recommended to leave the 12v+ supply on
the Blue cable when the car is switched off. As it will
be active as the car starts and can give the
appearance of no audio if the added source is not
playing.
Note;
If you are using this interface with the NAVTV
NAV-INBMW3 then you may wish to connect the BLUE
cable of the MOSTAUX-BMW to the WHITE cable in
the POWER harness of the NAV-INBMW3.
Please note that the 12v output (WHITE Cable) of the
NAV-INBMW3 is 12v– Ground and will require a relay
to convert this to a suitable 12v+ to activate the MO-
STAUX-BMW.
